22 Aug 2009 - After Swimming

Yoyoyo guys and ladies.. I am sorry to keep you all waiting!!

Last Saturday, I went to swimming with Junwei at AMK swimming complex.. I have not been exercising lately. I guess it is time to sled off some of my fat and my BIG BELLY.. ARGH!!!! Haha..

I remember Yuxin told me, if a guy got great body would be a bonus!! Yes, I believe that too.. Haha.. But I don't know how long would I take to achieve that? Or maybe forever won't have.. Erhh... =X

After swimming, we went somewhere nearby to eat. We went to hawker centre to eat!!! Gosh, I super love to eat at hawker centre. And to find someone to appreciate eating in hawker centre are kinda rared.. I am lucky!! Haha..

I absolutely had no ideas why hawker's foods always tasted so delicious and more importantly, I love the warmth, ethnic and friendliness of the people.. Singapore's uniqueness.. =)

Yummy Kway Chap!!!

Eyeing for Wanton Noodle?? Hehe..
And there's my favourite Soya Bean Drink!!

Dig in!!!

Apart from last Saturday, I had been pretty busy with my school works lately.. I haven't had a chance to watch TV or even chat with my friends in MSN.. Haix.. But no worries, you all will always be remembered!! =)

Life in university are kinda hectic, stressful, independent learning and tough. =( And I am still adjusting to it.. It may not be easy, but right now I am getting the hang of it.. YES I can do it! =)

Oh ya, I had taken a few photos on my hostel and school campus.. I will shared it with you all once the photos are ready..

Lastly, I would like to share a inspiring video with all of you.. Everytime I felt like giving up, I would watch it again and again..
Play it and see it for yourself!

15 Aug 2009 - Sec Class Gathering

My school had started this week and I already feeling the stress level. Honestly it is very different from poly life. What can I expect? Haha..

My first day starts with a "warmth welcome" in lecture by starting topic 1 of the chapter, and 2nd day onwards I been geared into revising and doing tutorial questions. Haha.. That is uni's life!! Haha.. Well, I gotta say uni life have to be pretty much self learning. Gogogo, Chin Hwee you can do it!!

So handsome guys and gorgeous ladies, that means I won't be blogging often, maybe about 1 blog per week. So hope you all can understand! =)

No worries, if I have available time, I will definitely blog!! Promise!!!

Yesterday, I went for a secondary class gathering organised by Pearlyn and Julian. It had been about 6 years since our graduation. What can I say? The girls had grown into gorgeous ladies and the boys had grown into macho man!! Haha..

So we all gathered at Fish and Co. (Dobby Ghuat) for our dinner.

Dorothy, Nimi, Bao Song and Me..

Song ordered Giraffe's Speciality drink..

After the gathering, I went back home and I realised my grandma had gone back to Indoesia. I totally forget about it.

The house felt much quieter than before and last night I did ponder quite a number of stuffs, I was feeling sad because since my school started, I felt that I had somehow neglected her. Haix..

Lucky Nimi was there to sms me. Nimi, thank you!! And don't forget we are stepping on the foot of the same soil.. Hehe.. You know what I means don't you?

Grandma, I miss you! And I am really sorry..

And later I will be moving into my hostel. I don't know how it like to be in hostel but I guess sooner or later I will find it out!! Adventure awaits..

08 Aug 2009 - Liang Seah Street

Oh my god!! I cannot believe that I drove yesterday. It is kinda rare for me to drove and especially towards town area.

Well as you know, I am lazy plus I am road idiot so my buddies and me got lost the way for a few times before reaching our destination. Haha..

We went to Iluma to get our movie tickets (G.I Joe) first before heading towards for our dinner.

Seriously, we all had no ideas where to eat. We just went out to the nearby areas to explore and we happened to find couple of interesting places to eat.

Junwei and Baosong..

Our first PIT STOP!!!

Are you wondering whether we are at a Chinese Museum?? Haha..
Nope, we are in Tang Shui Restaurant..

Junwei and his expression!!! Haha.. Oh ya, if you look closely.. On his chopstick is the Crispy Mango Prawn..

Do you think this photo is prefect to be in some front cover of FOOD magazine?? Haha..

Noodles..

Opps, we are sorry to keep Baosong waiting!! Haha.. He was waiting for us (Junwei and me) to finish taking photo on his food.. Basically playing with his food.. Haha..

Junwei and me had bake rice.. Isn't it yummy?? Look at the red attractive sauces.. HAHA..

And a closer look.. Hehe..

After we had our dinner, we headed for dessert. Just a few shophouses from the Tang Shui Restaurant, is the Ah Chew Desserts Shop. And it is super crowded.

Bao Song and me..

Can guess what is this? Haha..
Pulot Hitam..

3 different dessert..
Mango Pomelo Sago, Yam Sago, and Pulot Hitam..

Can guess which one is mine??? Hehe..

Me and my Mango Pomelo Sago..

Junwei and his Pulot Hitam..

Baosong and me having last few shoots before heading towards our final destination, Iluma for movie..

Yesterday was definitely good, refreshing and nostalgia experience. Well, I will defintely go back again for more.

I love the atmosphere and the decor, it is quite different from the usual restaurant that are in shopping mall. These shophouses have a strong rich culture in it. I hope to find more of such places to eat.

Maybe could try Perankan Restaurant next time? Want to join? Haha..

03 Aug 2009 - NS Achievement

Today I was invited by my Encik to come back to camp for piss up event. I was surprised to receive a farewell plaque from my CO. I was indeed happy.

That made up my 5th plaque collection served during my 2yrs of service. I, Chin Hwee had achieved it! =)

My plaque..

Thinking it back.. I still remember 2 years ago when I first enlisted. I was one of the few that enlisted without parents coming. Shake head~~ I am used to it already.

Anyway, I was lucky to be in a good company, Leopard COY!!! A COY that never looked down on us as PES C but motivated and inspired us in everything that we do. C is for Champion! Leopard ROCKS!!

I will remembered what my BMT encik and SGT that taught us.. And for that it will always be in my mind and heart. Thank you very much!!!

Leopard COY..

My BMT roommates..

Indeed BMT is the most memorable days during my 2yrs in service. I am proud and happy that I had made it through! At that time I enlisted, I had 2 choices to made. One: to slack through my 2yrs or Two: to work hard and learn as much as I could. And I choose the second option and stick through it no matter what.

After I passed out from BMT, life wasn't smooth sailing but was like one wave of the another keep coming. It was tiring and tough but I did not give up. Everyime I fell, I think back of the choice that I made and I learnt to climb back.

Thank you god for everything that you had done, it is very tough at time but you always taught me to learn to forget the tough times but never forget what they have taught me and most importantly you gave me the strengh to climb back! Thank you!

Among my 2yrs of service, what I cherished most are the friendships that I had made. A bond that I had created and will never forget.

My 84th AMS batch boys..

My 84th AMS batch boys and instructor...

Cavin and Freddie..

My first overseas (Aust) experiences with my colleagues...

Sometimes in life.. you will come across the unexpected..

Sometimes in life.. you will met someone who give you some great guidance..

And met a lot of friends.. more than just colleagues..

And some friends that you would trust and depend on.. Not necessary solve your problems but willing to listen..

And I will never forget all of you.. Thank you!!

My achievements during my 2yrs:
1) Best Trainee for 84th AMS
2) Most Oustanding NSF in Ex Wallaby 08
3) AOMS Oustanding Service of the Month for OCT 08
4) Friendships that I had made (Most Important of all)

For now it marked the end of one journey but another new adventurous journey are beginning.. My next stage of life, 4 years in my university.. I am ready to take new challenges and ready to fly and soar high like an eagle.

What will my new journey be like? And what are challenges that I will be facing? Stay by my side and watch me grow. You are not alone, you are with me!! Let do it together.. =)

P/S: Please do not be upset if your photos are not uploaded, it is because you all are always remember in my heart and mind! =)

01 Aug 2009 - Empire State Resturant

Today I met up with my poly classmates (Joey, Chandra, Wee Yong, Dexing and Serene) to celebrate Serene's Birthday.

Hey Serene, Happy Birthday to you and may your wishes come true! =)

We had our celebration and small gathering at Empire State Restaurant in Iluma Bugis. It was like one stone killing two birds at the same time. Haha..

Seriously Empire State does look like New York New York.. Haha.. But who cares? Let's check up the foods!!!!!

House Burger.. Super huge BURGER!!!!
And look at the melted cheese... Isn't it irresistible?

Those seafood lovers might want to try the Seafood Marinara..

For those who like tomato and cheese could try the food that Birthday Girl picked.. Penna Tomato..

Tired of the usual western food?? Maybe could try the 1/2 BBQ Ribs..

And finally the Chicken Chop.. It was suppose to be chicken chop but don't know why it looked like Chicken Cutlet to us.. Haha..
