1 Year In Service

Today is a very special day. It is my 1 year in national service.

Thinking back, time flies just like a blink of an eye. I feel like it was yesterday, I was just enlisted; I had to go Tekong alone without my family accompany then had my first 'Botak' haircut, had my first basic military training, had my first field camp, bonding with my bunk mates, till I posted to air force etc.

It's been a long journey but yet a most memorial one.

My Best Trainee Plaque

This few weeks were a roller coaster weeks for me; had a lot of highs and lows. Lucky I found these poem to keep me going. Thanks God.

Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
It is our light, not our darkness, the most frightens us

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God

Your playing small does not serve the world
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure about you
We are all meant to shine, as children do
We are borned to manifest the glory of God that is within us

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same
As we are liberated from our own fear
Our presence automatically liberates others

By Marianne Williamson

I hope I can find a goal in my life and do my very best to achieve it. If not my life will be very lifeless.
